An action-packed weekend of free winter enjoyable is in full swing in Penticton.

The third annual Frost Fest kicked off Friday, Jan. 23, and continued into Saturday morning with the winter carnival’s hockey event.

Eight groups are battling in three-on-three motion to assert the inaugural Frost Fest Faceoff title on the outside rink. Championship video games in every respective division (Division A and B) are set for two:30 p.m. and three:30 p.m.

As the event runs all day, households are gathering on the neighbouring Gyro Park to take pleasure in a winter wonderland of enjoyable.

Activities hosted by Ha Ha Ha Kidzfest are open till 5 p.m., when the favored Frost Fest Rail Jam returns to ‘wow’ attendees.
