PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The 10th-ranked Calvin males’s swimming and diving crew fell at No. 7 Carnegie Mellon in a high-powered twin meet Saturday afternoon. In the 100 breaststroke, Calvin went 2-3-4 with senior Caleb Gemmen (Mentor, Oh./Mentor HS) putting second (57.67), junior Josh Krampe (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern HS) putting third (57.70) and sophomore Andrew Taulbee (Reynoldsburg, Oh./Reynoldsburg HS) fourth (57.88). Gemmen was second within the 200 breaststroke (2:07.90) with Taulbee third (2:08.11) and Krampe fifth (2:09.96).

Gabrielle positioned second within the 100 butterfly (50.50) whereas Ziegler was fourth within the 200 butterfly (1:55.32). Ziegler was third within the 200 IM (1:57.07) and junior Logan Yakubowski (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton Area) fourth (1:59.70).
