Men’s Swimming Seniors Shine In opposition to Virginia Wesleyan

ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon males’s swimming had nice swims towards Virginia Wesleyan, Saturday afternoon, for Senior Day and the ultimate common season meet, with the 200 Free senior relay crew incomes first place of their closing residence occasion, defeating the Marlins 183-59.

Individual Winners

• During the 200 Free, Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) earned first place with a time of 1:49.10.
• Ethan Munoz (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) completed with a time of 26.32 seconds through the 50 Back, incomes first place and 9 factors total for the Yellow Jackets.
• In the 50 Breast, Alex Fortiz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) earned first place, ending in 27.96 seconds. The freshman added to the morning with a first-place end within the 100 Back, clocking a time of 56.39 seconds.
• Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School) earned a first-place end within the 100 Fly with a time of 57.43 seconds. The junior added a first-place end within the 100 Free with a time of fifty.27 seconds.
• Senior Matthew Appleton (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) added 9 factors to the Yellow Jackets’ whole through the 50 Free, ending in 23.53 seconds.
• Lucas Swager (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry) completed the 100 Breast in 1:05.55 to earn first place.
• During the five hundred Free, Parker Anderson (Midlothian, Va./Monacan) completed in 5:12.28, incomes first place.
• Senior Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) completed the 50 Fly in 24.56 seconds for a first-place end.

Individual Highlights

• During the 50 Back, Appleton earned a second-place end with a time of 26.58 seconds. He added one other second-place end within the 100 Free with a time of 51.68 seconds.
• Sasha Babic (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) earned a second-place end through the 50 Breast with a time of 29.04 seconds.
• During the 100 Back, Richardson completed with a time of 56.43 seconds, incomes second place.
• Munoz added a second-place end within the 100 Breast with a time of 1:11.19.
• In the 50 Fly, Travis Marks (Colonial Heights, Va./Colonial Heights) completed with a time of 25.99 seconds, incomes third place.
• Will Edwards (Glen Allen, Va./St. Christopher’s) completed the 200 Medley in 2:10.13, including 4 factors to the Yellow Jackets’ total rating.

Relay Winners

• The 200 Medley relay crew, consisting of Casey Dingman (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry), Alex Fortiz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford), Reed Dodson (Bealeton, Va./Liberty) and Babic, completed in 1:42.97, incomes first place and 11 factors total for the Yellow Jackets.
• The 200 Free senior relay crew, consisting of Richardson, Sebastian Florez (Richmond, Va./JR Tucker), Carter Bingman (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) and Fannin, completed in 1:32.91, incomes first place of their closing residence meet for the Lemon and Black.
