Bismarck photographer performs matchmaker with ‘stranger sessions’

MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) – An area photographer is enjoying cupid this Valentine’s Day.

There’s a twist to Brooklyn Earhart’s “stranger sessions.”

She matches up two strangers, blindfolds them then pictures the second they meet.

Earhart hopes even when the {couples} she matches don’t fall head over heels in love, at the least possibly they’ll discover a new good friend and have slightly enjoyable.

This is the primary time Briana Hauck and Evan Izzi have met. Photos seize the unforgettable second.

They each signed up for certainly one of Brooklyn Earhart’s “stranger sessions.”

“They fill out this form, and I take what everybody explains about themselves and what they look for in another person. I kind of match them up that way,” Earhart defined.

Both Hauck and Izzi admitted they had been slightly nervous to take the blindfolds off.

“I didn’t know what he looked like, or what was going to happen or what I was walking into, really,” stated Hauck.

“Just a touch nervous. But it’s a fun experience,” added Izzi.

Earhart stated she’s obtained some butterflies, too; that is her first time enjoying cupid.

“This is all new for me,” she stated with amusing.

For Earhart, it challenges her images expertise, and it helps her meet new folks.

“Just the smiles and the fun that comes out of it. I mean, whether you go on a date afterwards or maybe this is just a new friend. It’s just it’s so fun to interact with people,” stated Earhart.

Earhart has photographed 5 {couples} to this point. Three of these 5 have gone on dates after their stranger session.

Earhart stated she doesn’t have any expectations. But she admits, she is invested in each couple’s story.

“If this does turn into something, you know, I’m here for engagement photos or wedding photos,” laughed Earhart.

That’s a love story, she stated, can be nothing in need of image excellent.
