Women’s Ice Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Swimming sweep MAC Player of the Week Awards

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has introduced its convention weekly award recipients for the week ending February 1, 2026. A complete of 17 student-athletes have been acknowledged for performances from Jan. 26, 2026 to Feb. 1, 2026. Of the 17 student-athletes honored, 4 of them are Stevenson student-athletes. 

WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky) 

MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week 

Jalyn Jones  led Stevenson offensively with a five-point weekend, totaling 4 objectives and an help. She recorded a career-high 4 objectives in an 8–2 win over Hood on Friday. On Saturday, Jones assisted on the game-tying aim in a 2–2 contest towards Wilkes, pushing the sport into time beyond regulation towards the top-seeded Colonels. 

MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week 

Emily Carson anchored Stevenson in web with a robust weekend between the pipes. She earned her first profession win as a Mustang with 24 saves in Friday’s victory over Hood. Carson adopted with 44 saves in an time beyond regulation recreation towards Wilkes, ending the competition with a .936 save proportion. 

SWIMMING (#MACswim) 

MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week 

Brendan Lach shattered the Stevenson program file within the 1,000-yard freestyle for the second consecutive week. After breaking the file with a ten:29.29 towards Messiah, he lowered his personal mark by greater than seven seconds on the Stevenson Last Chance Meet, posting a time of 10:21.31. 

MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week 

Eryn O’Brien recorded two personal-best performances at Stevenson’s Last Chance Meet, setting new profession marks within the 100-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. Both occasions are among the many races she’s going to contest on the upcoming MAC Championships.
