UC Leads MSC Championship After Day 1; Hoare Breaks Conference Document

Danville, KY –  The Patriots girls’s swimming & diving group captured a trio of convention titles and 9 all-conference performances to guide the Mid-South Conference Swimming & Diving Championships after the primary of competitors Thursday evening at Centre College.  Cumberlands tallied 299 factors to soar atop the group standings.

Highlighting the Patriots efficiency was Bella Hoare, who opened finals clocking a 4:57.82 to win the five hundred free.  That time broke Mendy de Rooi’s faculty and convention report that was set in 2020 and it is the quickest time within the NAIA this season.  Teammate Juliana Lopez Morales clocked a 5:03.40 to complete runner-up with the third quickest time within the NAIA.  Mara Ellerkamp positioned fourth going 5:18.44, whereas Madeline Barbee (5:23.94) and Addison Ringwald (5:35.78) additionally competed within the finals.
