Dunsmuir Community Pool – 2026 Season  – Lifeguard Recruitment

RECRUITING NOW for lifeguards to make sure a pool season in 2026.  FREE certification & lifeguard gear – hourly wage beginning at $18-20  for “rookies” / greater hourly wage for knowledgeable guards !  Flexible, part-time schedules !!   An excellent “stepping-stone” for future employment in:  recreation, wellness & health, public service, or the hospitality business.

The renovated, naturally heated, Dunsmuir Community Pool is the biggest swimming pool in Siskiyou County. At 75 toes x 150 toes, it offers ample room for teenagers to play and adults to swim.

The District follows all present Public Health protocols  and inspection suggestions to guard our pool patrons whereas visiting the pool.   The pool is offered for personal social gathering leases throughout seasonal operation.
