Males’s Swimming and Diving Wins Seven Occasions at BU Winter Open

BOSTON – The Brown males’s swim and dive group (2-6, 1-6 Ivy) collected seven occasion victories on the BU Winter Open at FitRec Competition Pool on Friday and Saturday. The 2025-26 common season finale featured two particular person occasion wins for Caden Blamer. 

Blamer secured the highest marks within the 50 freestyle (20.58) and 100 backstroke (48.85), and was a part of the 200 medley relay group (1:29.02) that gained. Blamer was joined by Tucker Peterson, Connor Wickerham, and Aaron Martin. Blamer additionally added a second-place end within the 100 breaststroke and a third-place mark within the 200 backstroke. 

Peterson gained the 100 butterfly (48.30) and positioned third within the 50 free, 100 backstroke, and 100 freestyle. Along with the 200 medley relay win, he was a member of the 200 free relay group that gained, joined by Martin, Rudd Day, and Wickerham. 

Martin gained the 100 free, ending in 44.74. Christopher Chang positioned first within the 1650 free (16:16.81).
