Nova Southeastern Women, Tampa Men lead after Day One of SSC Swimming Championships

OCALA, Fla. – The first day of the 2026 Sunshine State Conference Swimming Championships ended with Nova Southeastern University in first place general (58 factors) after claiming the highest time within the 800 free relay and 10 factors forward of the University of Tampa. Meanwhile, UTampa is on the high of the leaderboard on the lads’s aspect (58 factors), with a 10-point lead over Rollins College (48 factors).

Top Performances: The workforce of Emilia Ronningdal, Zsofia Kurdi, Hailey Williams, and Kristina Orban took the gold for the Sharks tonight, breaking the championship meet file for the 800 Freestyle Relay, ending the race with a time of seven:11.17.
