Ohio State Heads to Richmond Next

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State creative swimming crew continues its 2026 season on the University of Richmond Friday, Feb. 13. The groups will compete from the Weinstein Center Pool in Richmond, Va. with the meet set to start out at 8 p.m.

Buckeyes as of Late
In their final meet, the Buckeyes defeated Michigan, 106-49. The crew swept the routine classes with Ruby Remati ending first in solo; Remati and Keana Hunter taking first in duet; Scarlet Finn, Viola Li and Emma Spott incomes the highest spot in trio and the Scarlet crew routine profitable as properly.

The Buckeyes have gained the duet class in each meet this season. The pairing of Remati and Hunter have two wins whereas Finn and Spott even have a win on their document.

The 2026 Buckeyes
Ohio State’s 2026 roster contains 20 returners and 5 newcomers. The roster options representatives of three international locations, 9 states and two Canadian provinces. Among the returners to the roster this season are 2025 All-Americans Scarlett Finn, Keana Hunter, Ruby Remati and Emma Spott. Remati was additionally an All-Collegiate performer in 2025.

Ohio State is led by head coach Holly Vargo-Brown who has led this system for the final 14 seasons and has been a member of the crew, each as a coach and as a student-athlete. Vargo-Brown is assisted by Monica Velazquez-Stiak, who’s in her fourth season on the teaching workers after competing for the Buckeyes from 2015-18.
