Zips Compete in Pair of Events Earlier than MAC Championship

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron swim and dive staff will compete in a pair of occasions this weekend. The Zips swimming squad will head to Columbus, Ohio, to compete within the Ohio State Winter Invite from Feb. 13-15, whereas the diving staff will head to Clarion, Pa., to battle within the Clarion Last Chance Invite on Feb. 14.

Prelims at Ohio State will start at 11:00 a.m. every day. Finals will start at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Along with the Zips, Ohio State, Cleveland State, Illinois State, Notre Dame, Pitt, Purdue, Texas and Youngstown State shall be on the invite. Diving occasions at Clarion are set to start at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
