MARTINEZ, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Wilson Fung’s journey to enterprise possession began virtually a decade in the past when he was within the navy and determined to start out a part-time gig promoting collectibles.
“I used to play a lot of video games, and I also like watching anime and some of the pop culture stuff also,” stated Fung, proprietor of Rurouni Foodie.
He obtained his begin on the flea market. When he retired from the navy, he determined to go all in on the enterprise.
“I thought I could make it full time. So I took the risk and started it,” Fung stated.
Rurouni Foodie was born from that call. Rurouni is from an anime present and means wanderer. Before he began the enterprise, Fung would journey to completely different locations and assessment eating places.
These days, when it’s time to wander, he hundreds up his van and heads to completely different conventions.
“Mostly in the Southeast region because I’m in Georgia. But I travel as far as Texas and Oklahoma,” Fung stated.
He likes to cater to everybody — from hardcore followers to folks simply on the lookout for a brand new toy or accent.
