Swimming Wraps Up Day Three of ODAC Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Sweet Briar College swim workforce (1-8, 1-6 ODAC) wrapped up day three of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships with two extra classes immediately.

Sophomore Geneva Seitz (Havre de Grace, Md.) was the primary Vixen within the pool as she positioned twenty third within the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:28.00.

Junior EJ Scherrer (Simpsonville, S.C.) earned a time of two:36.29 to return twenty seventh within the 200-yard freestyle, whereas first-year Kylee Nickerson (Waterford, Mich.) accomplished the race in 2:57.84 to return in twenty ninth.

Three Sweet Briar swimmers noticed motion within the 100-yard breaststroke. Scherrer led the way in which in twenty fourth with a time of 1:32.76. First-year Katie Kreska (West Lawn, Pa.) and sophomore Carlee Minyard (Jacksonville, Fla.) completed twenty fifth and twenty sixth with instances of 1:54.14 and a couple of:06.76, respectively.

In the 100-yard backstroke, sophomore Emily Carter (Kermit, W. Va.) recorded a time of 1:19.09 to position twenty first. Junior Julia Elliott (Norfolk, Va.) additionally competed within the occasion and positioned twenty fourth after touching the wall on the 1:44.35 mark.

The Vixens competed within the night time session with a ninth-place exhibiting within the 200-yard medley relay. The relay workforce of first-year Ava Powers (Crandall, Texas), Kreska, Seitz and Minyard mixed for a time of two:54.21.

Highlights
