Swimming earns 14 finalists in NWC Championships day two

BOISE, Idaho — Linfield swimming earned 10 whole A finalists and 14 whole finalists in Saturday night’s session, led by top-three finishes from seniors Sarah Arpag, Kira Etheredge, Kirsti Keppo and Sam Postlewait. The Wildcat’s mens group enters the ultimate two periods in fourth, and the ladies’s squad is sixth.
 
Kirsti Keppo, Kira Etheredge, Sarah Arpag and Caley Haydu opened Saturday’s finals with a third-place end within the girls’s 200-yard medley relay, barely ending behind the group from George Fox. 
 
Arpag and Etheredge have been A finalists within the girls’s 100-yard butterfly, with Arpag securing the bronze medal with a time of 57.97, and Etheredge in sixth with a 58.72.
