A examine has proven that six of the ten highest-rated women-owned small companies (SMBs) throughout the US are wedding ceremony photographers.
The study, carried out by fintech firm OnDeck, analyzed the Yelp critiques of 12,789 SMBs owned by girls in 431 of the biggest American cities, highlighting that wedding ceremony images firms cleared the path in buyer satisfaction.
A Tale Ahead, a Pacifica-based wedding ceremony images enterprise owned by couple Annie and David Zou, topped the survey with a stellar 100% five-star ranking from 391 Yelp critiques.
Speaking to OnDeck, Annie stated: “As a young woman, I had to learn to lead with clarity. I reminded myself to project an image of a confident, experienced photographer so that I could earn that level of trust in my clients.”
The arduous work paid off for Annie and these days she’s “a lot more relaxed and casual” as word-of-mouth and critiques do a whole lot of the heavy lifting.
Other wedding ceremony photographers securing a prime ten spot in OnDeck’s survey included Virginia-based Genevieve Elaine (second) and New Jersey-based Vitalia Kotik (third).
It wasn’t a clear sweep for wedding ceremony images, although, as 4 of the highest ten positions have been snatched up by different women-owned SMBs.
Fourth place went to a florist in Austin, TX, a gymnasium tools set up firm in Oakland, CA obtained seventh, a notarial apply in Belmont, CA got here in eighth and a Springfield, OR wedding ceremony venue squeezed in at tenth – with the entire prime ten boasting five-star rankings.
OnDeck scoured Yelp for all women-owned SMBs in 431 US cities with not less than a 4-star ranking from 50 critiques.
The fintech firm then manually researched every SMB web site to substantiate that solely small companies had been included.
OnDeck didn’t outline what it considers to be an SMB. However, the Small Business Administration, a US federal company, defines them as firms with 500 staff or much less.
