This would be the Year of the Fire Horse which jogged my memory of this picture I took of my wee boy a number of years in the past out on the Kelpies.

This is the citadel tonight, however a number of years in the past there was much more effort put into the celebration.

Grabbing photographs of a shifting video is a bit tough, however I ramped up the sensitivity (ISO) and shot in a collection of bursts on a tripod – a bit hit and miss.

On a earlier 12 months Burns Night nearly coincided with Chinese New Year, so a collection of occasions was concocted to have fun the collision with Burns & Beyond throughout the town.

Rabbie and the dragon met in St Giles

and Kinnaris Quintet performed beneath a roof of Chinese Lanterns.
