WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University ladies’s basketball crew will journey to Charlotte, North Carolina, taking up Johnson C. Smith University on February 18. Tip-off is scheduled for five:30 p.m. inside Brayboy Gymnasium.

WSSU ladies’s basketball enters a brand new period beneath the management of Coach Tierra Terry, no stranger to the CIAA as she was the pinnacle coach at Virginia Union. Coach Terry can also be a graduate and former participant for Winston-Salem State. She added coach Jessica Freeman and Dylan Anderson to her workers within the low season.
Ram Returners:
The Rams introduced again seven returners from final 12 months’s squad: sophomore Alana Biosse, junior Zion Dixon, and seniors Kierran Walker, Alexandria Warren, Jakaiya Mack, Chloe Williams and Jahmaria Miles.
Ram Newcomers:
During the low season, WSSU welcomed in 9 newcomers: freshman TaNiya Simms, Kloe Thompson, Taylor Simpson, Breonna Roaf, Amari Kilgore-Baldwin, sophomore Ah’Kiyah Pye, junior Neveah Farmer, senior Makayla Waleed and switch sophomore Maia Charles.

The Lady Rams have been chosen to complete seventh within the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) preseason ballot.
Jakaiya Mack was named to the preseason crew.

Ah’Kiyah Pye was named CIAA Rookie of the Week for week three.
Breonna Roaf was named CIAA Rookie of the Week for week 4.
