New Jersey points journey ban because of winter storm; checklist of those that are exempt

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) — The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, below the Division of the New Jersey State Police, has issued a compulsory journey restriction starting 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

All non-exempt autos are prohibited from working on state, county, municipal, and interstate roadways throughout this era.

The New Jersey Turnpike is exempt from this restriction.

Violators might face penalties below state legislation.

The following autos are exempt from the restriction:

-Public works and snow elimination crews
-Public transportation autos and personnel
-Government officers conducting official enterprise
-Utility firm autos and personnel
-Healthcare staff and pressing medical journey
-Personnel supporting emergency shelter operations and human companies amenities
-Delivery of essential medical provides and companies to healthcare amenities
-News media
-Private snow elimination contractors
-Patients searching for pressing essential care and their escorts
-Travel essential to keep up essential infrastructure and important companies, together with vitality, gas, meals, pharmacies, and {hardware} shops
-Personnel supporting airline and airport operations
