Phoenix Swim Teams Each End Sixth at #HLSD Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Green Bay swimming & diving completed the Horizon League Championships on Saturday night time, with each groups taking sixth place. Oakland swept the 2026 #HLSD Championships with wins in each genders.
 
The spotlight of the day was a runner-up end from Ella Schultz within the 200 breast. She touched the wall simply over a second behind YSU’s Hannah Murray, in 2:18.76. Zoe Chalfant raced within the Consolation Final, putting tenth with a 2:22.99.
 
Gemma Fibla Miralles began off the night time session for the Phoenix with a seventh-place end within the 1650 free, coming in with a finals time of 17:22.05. Mackenzie Barnett completed ninth with a time of 17:25.60. On the boys’s facet, Stefan Tica set a college file and completed fourth with a time of 15:29.26.
 
The GB girls had a trio within the Consolation Final of the 200 again, with Mia Pagel ending thirteenth (2:04.6), Sydney Vega coming in fifteenth (2:06.01), and Sam Pepevnik coming in sixteenth (2:07.24). Chris Aristondo and Zacha King did the identical on the boys’s facet, coming in twelfth (1:49.86) and sixteenth (1:51.1), respectively.
 
McKenna Metropulos competed within the Consolation Final of the 100 free, ending twelfth with a time of 52.35.
 
Kaleb Lombard lined up within the Consolation Final of the 200 fly, ending sixteenth with a time of 1:52.21.
