Fun truth about me:

I grew to become a Product Manager accidentally.

In 2013, I used to be at NASA Moffett Field via Singularity University.

I used to be engaged on a mission that mixed AI, sensors, and 3D printing to construct an automatic oral-cleaning system.

On presentation day, one thing surprising occurred.

My teammates backed out.

They have been too nervous to current.

So I stepped in.

I introduced the product.
Handled each technical query.
Defended our selections.
Explained the market alternative.

After the session, the CEO of 3D Systems, Avi Reichental, walked as much as me.

He mentioned, “Would you consider working with us?”

There was only one complication.

I didn’t have an employment visa.

I assumed that was the tip of the dialog.

It wasn’t…

He organized authorized assist and introduced me to the U.S.

And then mentioned, “You can choose your own title.”

Product administration was booming on the time.

So I selected Product Manager.
… And that’s how I grew to become one.

I spent the subsequent three years launching a number of shopper 3D printers.
I even received the Glenn Taylor Memorial Award.

Here’s what I need you to remove from this:

Careers not often unfold in straight strains.

Sometimes, simply demonstrating your worth is sufficient for somebody to present you an opportunity.

So start to take possession.

Build one thing and speak about it.

The web is the most important stage you’ll ever have.
