HOLLAND, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College males’s swimming and diving crew completed third on the MIAA Championships Presented by Collegiate Credit Union Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 18-21, on the Holland Aquatic Center. Troy Richard was named the MIAA Men’s Most Valuable Diver. Trustin Christopher gained the Men’s Senior Impact award.

Saturday’s Results

The 400 Free Relay completed fourth with a time of three:16.53 (Reed Dixon, Teague Westra, Zach Heikka, Avery Jones).

Zach Heikka was seventh within the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:55.74.

Friday’s Results

Zander Ligman captured the MIAA championship within the 3-meter Diving occasion with a rating of 535.45. Troy Richard was second at 497.45. Barrett Garrard completed eighth (329.55).

The 200 Medley Relay completed fourth with a time of 1:39.62 (Zach Heikka, Reed Dixon, Trustin Christopher, Noah Loizos).

Zach Heikka completed seventh within the 100 Backstroke with a time of 51.84.

Kalamazoo stays in third place following Friday’s occasions.

Thursday’s Results

Troy Richard gained the MIAA championship within the 1-meter Diving occasion with a rating of 486.70. Zander Ligman was third (443.50). Barrett Garrard completed eighth (324.85).

The 400 Medley Relay completed second with a time of three:33.04 (Zach Heikka, Reed Dixon, Teague Westra, Avery Jones).

The 200 Free Relay completed fourth with a time of 1:27.75 (Zach Heikka, Teague Westra, Noah Loizos, Avery Jones).

Kalamazoo is in third place following Thursday’s occasions.

Wednesday’s Results

In the one scored occasion of the night, Kalamazoo completed fifth within the 800 Free Relay (Reed Dixon, Teague Westra, Dominick Fooy, Avery Jones) with a time of seven:18.99.
