SPRINGFIELD, MO  —  Seven Missouri S&T swimmers competed at Drury’s Last Chance Invite over the weekend, with three setting private bests.

Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium) was the primary Miner to compete on the invite, ending first within the 100 fly with a time of 48.74. Four Miners competed within the 200 free subsequent, with Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) main the pack and ending second. Grady Ashley (St. Louis, MO/Kirkwood), Artur Becker (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Colégio Santo Antônio), Nathan Butler (Lee’s Summit, MO/Lee’s Summit), and John Cottrell (Fort Madison, IA/Fort Madison) competed within the subsequent a number of occasions, with Butler’s time of 1:50.72 within the 200 fly lacking a brand new private greatest by solely two hundredths of a second.
