Redbirds Set For MVC Swim and Dive Championships

NORMAL, Ill. –   The Illinois State swim and dive program is about to tackle the Missouri Valley Conference Swim and Dive Championships on the Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Ind. 

The four-day meet will start at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and can be out there to observe on YouTube on the MVC Channel or MeetMobile App. Action will resume every day with occasion prelims starting at 10:30 a.m.

The Redbirds head to the Hoosier State after closing out the common season with a 155-74 twin meet victory over Eastern Illinois on Jan. 31. Across 14 occasions, Illinois State captured 13 wins. Five of the Redbirds’ victories set new Horton Pool facility information, matching the very best for a house meet this season.

Illinois State’s look on the MVC Championship meet marks the second below second-year head coach Riley Hilbrandt. Last season, the Redbirds earned a seventh-place end with a crew rating of 738 in Hilbrandt’s teaching debut on the title meet.
