Second Annual HI-PAL Keiki Fun Run/Walk in Kona This Saturday – Hawaiʻi Police Department

The Hawaiʻi Police Department Kona Community Policing Section, in partnership with PATH, will host its second annual HI-PAL Keiki Fun Run/Walk in Kona on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the Old Airport Recreation Area.

The family-friendly occasion encourages keiki to remain energetic whereas having fun with the outside alongside associates, relations, and the neighborhood. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., and the occasion will begin at 8 a.m. close to the Makaʻeo Path.

Participants shall be grouped by age, with a 200-yard sprint for youngsters ages 5 to eight (relations could accompany younger runners), a half-mile course for ages 9 to 12, and a one-mile course for ages 13 to 17. Refreshments and snacks shall be supplied following the races.
