Trio of Mavericks Set to Compete on the NCAA Championships – Minnesota State College

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Three members of the Minnesota State girls’s swimming and diving group will make the journey to Evansville, Ind., to compete on the NCAA Championships.

The five-day NCAA Championships will probably be held from March 10-14 on the Deaconess Aquatic Center.

Sophomore Savannah Acker certified for the 100 backstroke (55.14, twelfth) and the 200 IM (2:03.50, nineteenth) occasions. She may also compete within the 200 backstroke (2:01.42, twenty seventh) and the 400 IM (4:25.57, twenty eighth) occasions as she recorded provisional qualifying instances in each of these occasions.

Sophomore Averi Larsen certified for the 100 freestyle (50.66, twenty fifth) occasion. She may also compete within the 100 breaststroke (1:03.18, twenty eighth) and the 50 freestyle (23.29, twenty sixth) occasions as she recorded provisional qualifying instances in each occasions.

Junior diver Natalie Freeman will compete within the prequalification diving meet on March 10 to attempt to advance on to the NCAA Championships.
