Steps to take previous to worldwide journey

1 – Travel Request

A Travel Request is required for all worldwide journey.

1a – Policy/Directive Acknowledgement

In accordance with state mandate, vacationers should learn and acknowledge all relevant UF rules, insurance policies, and directives whereas touring on UF enterprise internationally. This acknowledgement is finished inside UF GO.

2 – Export Controls Review

Review the Export Controls steering and call UF Research Integrity, Security, and Compliance (RISC) for help with export licenses or different authorizations and in case you are transport or transferring bodily objects overseas or touring to overseas international locations topic to embargo or commerce sanctions.

3 – International Center Registration

All UF staff touring internationally are required to register with the UF International Center previous to initiating journey.

4 – myAssets

If you’re touring with UF-owned property, together with your laptop computer, submit a Foreign Travel Request through the myAssets Portal. The Foreign Travel Request is required to adjust to authorities rules and U.S. export legal guidelines relating to overseas journey with property.
