MEDFORD, MA (February 27, 2026) – Nine Tufts University swimmers have certified to compete on the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Championships in Indianapolis March 18-21.
The Jumbos who posted nationwide qualifying instances this season are senior Armaan Sikka, juniors Will Kaminski, Jack Nussbaum, Rafae Shafi and Jan Springer, sophomores Max Gerke and Ron Lyubman and freshmen Nico Ogawa and Isaac Shang.
Sikka has now certified for the NCAA meet in all 4 of his seasons at Tufts. Shafi certified for the third straight season, whereas Kaminski, Lyubman and Nussbaum are nationwide qualifiers for the second time. Gerke, Ogawa, Shang and Springer will make their first journey to NCAA’s.
The Jumbo 200 freestyle relay is the staff’s highest seed with their 1:19.62 time that broke the varsity report on the NESCAC Championships.
