No. 20 Males’s Swimming & Diving Continues to Lead at Ivy League Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 20 Princeton males’s swimming & diving group continues to journey first place with 952 factors on the conclusion of day three of the Ivy League Championships. 

In the 200 yard freestyle, Jack Tarara positioned sixth with 13 factors within the B ultimate. The Tigers made some noise within the A ultimate with Mitchell Schott inserting first with 32 factors and incomes Ivy Champion, for a second consecutive time! This marks Schott’s third title this weekend. Patrick Dinu adopted in second with 28 factors, whereas Parker Lenoce positioned sixth with 24 factors. 

Cole Kawaja and Santiago Gutierrez labored for some factors for the Tigers within the 1000 yard freestyle. Kawaja positioned sixth with 23 factors, whereas Gutierrez positioned eighth with 17 factors. 

Lucas Tudoras picked up 16 whereas inserting third within the 100 yard butterfly B ultimate. In the A ultimate, Logan Noguchi positioned third, incomes 27 factors, whereas Alex Townsend adopted in fourth with 26 factors. Conor McKenna positioned eighth with 22 factors. 

Jiarui Xue positioned fifth within the C ultimate of the 400 yard particular person medley, incomes 4 factors. In the B ultimate, John Rusnock positioned fourth with 15 factors. The A ultimate ended with Arthur Balva inserting fifth with 25 factors, whereas Jack Haley positioned eighth with 22 factors. 

Parker Lenoce and Yanning Zhang picked up some extra factors for Princeton within the 100 yard backstroke. Zhang positioned seventh incomes 23 factors, whereas Lenoce trailed in eighth with 22 factors. 

The Tigers ended the night time inserting fourth within the 400 medley relay. The quartet of Zhang, Rusnock, Noguchi and Schott , earned Princeton 52 factors. 

Competition continues tomorrow for the ultimate day with prelims starting at 11:00 AM, adopted by finals at 6:00 PM.
