ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Five RIT scholar athletes had been honored by the Liberty League with weekly honors introduced by the convention, Monday (March 2).
 
Junior Gwen Petrie was named the Women’s Diver of the Week. On the boys’s facet, junior Luke Albanese was named the Diver of the Week, sophomore Yu Tanimoto was Men’s Tennis Singles Performer of the Week and first 12 months Evan Ly was the Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Week. Ly recorded a 2-0 document to assist lead RIT to a 6-1 win at St. Lawrence, Saturday. Ly teamed up with junior Alec Turcotte to beat Armaan Walia and Charles Schepens 6-2 at second doubles. In singles, Ly beat Josh David 6-2, 6-3 at second doubles.
 
Tanimoto and Sinclair defeated Josh and Jake David 6-3 in first doubles to steer the Tigers to a 6-1 win at St. Lawrence, Saturday.
