As with the portraits within the earlier installments of this sequence I’ve targeted on the gifted, devoted, and artistic individuals who have made vital contributions to the artwork, character, and tradition of this metropolis and state — on this case a musician, an actor/director, a multi-disciplinary visible artist, a playwright/actor, and a author/editor.

My aspirations have remained the identical: to doc the up to date cultural panorama and to supply a good {photograph} — {a photograph} that acknowledges the medium’s allegiance to actuality and that preserves for myself and others a singular and sincere sense of the topic.

The environmental particulars have been saved to a minimal. The topics have the body to themselves and don’t compete with context for consideration. This supplies for a less complicated, blunter, extra intense encounter with character. It is character that animates the picture.
