Christendom Students to Travel Abroad for Spring Break Mission Trips

Christendom College college students and workers will journey overseas subsequent week, providing their time and vitality to serve others via the school’s annual spring break mission journeys. This yr, college students will journey to the Dominican Republic and Honduras, welcoming the possibility to deepen their religion and produce Christ’s like to these in want.

For years, Christendom college students have taken half in spring break mission journeys, making the most of their week away from campus to serve communities world wide. Past locations have included Malta, Peru, Honduras, Colorado, and Paris — every journey an extension of the school’s mission to “restore all things in Christ” by reaching out to the much less lucky.

This yr, 22 college students and three workers members of the school will journey to the Dominican Republic to associate with the Diocese of Arlington and serve at their mission in Banica. Continuing the work of founding faculty member Dr. Raymond O’Herron, who started the annual trip, college students will construct a chapel throughout their time there.

In Honduras, three college students and three workers members will be part of the every day lives of the locals, residing and sharing meals with them, in addition to evangelizing in distant mountain villages alongside round 70 different college students and missionaries from across the nation.
