Diving Prepares for NCAA Zone B Diving Championships

MIAMI – The FIU diving program prepares for the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships, set for March 8–10 in Athens, Ga., hosted by the University of Georgia at Gabrielsen Natatorium, with hopes of securing qualification to the 2026 NCAA Championships.

The three-day occasion begins Sunday, March 8 and runs by Tuesday, March 10 for the ladies’s competitors. All occasions will likely be streamed stay on ESPN+.

Sunday, March 8

12:15 p.m. ET – Women’s 1-meter prelims

2:55 p.m. ET – Women’s 1-meter finals

11:15 a.m. ET – Women’s 3-meter prelims

1:40 p.m. ET – Women’s 3-meter finals

 

Tuesday, March 10

11:15 a.m. ET – Women’s Platform prelims

12:40 p.m. ET – Women’s Platform finals

QUALIFYING SPOTS

1-meter: 11 spots

3-meter: 9 spots

Platform: 7 spots

 

Junior Kristina Keenan certified for all three occasions, incomes spots within the 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform competitions. Senior Ruska Lehtonen will compete within the 1-meter and platform occasions, whereas freshman Adyson Downey certified for the platform competitors.

 

A complete of 11 NCAA Championship spots can be found within the 1-meter, whereas 9 spots can be found within the 3-meter. The platform occasion will award seven qualifying positions for the NCAA Championships.

 

Divers who qualify in a single occasion may also be eligible to compete in any further occasion wherein they end throughout the prime 12 on the zone meet.
