Top-10 finishes from Ithaca’s Koen Anderson, together with relays from Maine-Endwell and Corning, highlighted Section 4’s efforts on the New York state boys swimming and diving championships Saturday, March 7.

The two-day meet at Ithaca College’s Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium got here to an in depth Saturday after swim prelims and diving competitors Friday.

Highlights from Section 4 athletes

• Ithaca senior Koen Anderson positioned sixth in Federation competitors and fifth amongst public faculties within the 500-yard freestyle with a finals time of 4:35.84, greater than 2 seconds sooner than his prelim swim. Anderson completed eleventh general within the 200 freestyle in 1:42.34, a drop of almost a second from Friday.

• Corning’s 200 medley relay of Crisco, Shawn De Pedro, McKane, Sierzant completed 14th in 1:38.26.
