An evening of fizzy enjoyable for teenagers in Leominster

LEOMINSTER — Families in search of a enjoyable and hands-on science journey gained’t wish to miss “Explore Your World! Fizz, Foam, Bubble, Pop with Kosmic Kelly!” from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, on the Leominster Public Library, 30 West St.

Children ages 4-8 are invited to dive right into a high-energy night of experiments and discovery.

Young scientists will make their very own lava lamps, create fizzy, colourful volcanoes, blow a bubble mountain with pals and watch the thrilling response that creates “elephant toothpaste.”

“I enjoy offering science programs because it’s fun,” mentioned Kelly Lavoie (fondly often called Kosmic Kelly) of Hands-on Science. “What I love best is to bring families and community together and create a fun space for an hour where we can learn, engage, and laugh. Science is fun no matter how old or young. I hope to spark curiosity and inspire people to go home and keep exploring and experimenting.”

The program is sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s ASOST Grant and administered by the United Way of North Central Massachusetts.
