TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University males’s and girls’s diving groups are set for NCAA Zone Diving on Monday and Tuesday. Five Tigers can have a shot to qualify for the NCAA Championships as they compete within the discipline of 176 divers in Zona “A” on the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Each occasion will see all divers compete in preliminary rounds with the highest 18 from every prelim spherical advancing to the finals. All preliminary spherical scores carry over to the finals.
For the ladies, the highest six on the 1 meter board and prime 5 on the three meter will qualify for the NCAA championships. For the lads, the highest 4 on 1 meter and prime 5 on 3 meter will safe an NCAA’s berth.
Women’s divers wanted to have 265 factors within the 1 meter dive or 280 factors within the 3 meter dive to qualify for Zones. While males’s divers wanted 300 factors on the 1 meter board or 320 on the three meter board.

Women’s 1 meter dive (10:30 a.m.) – Shannon Parrau, Lara Booth Alam, Liliana Bermudez
Men’s 3 meter dive (12 p.m.) – Sam Tennell, Aidan Clark
Tuesday, March 10:
Women’s 3 meter dive (10:30 a.m.) – Shannon Parrau, Lara Booth Alam
Men’s 1 meter dive (12 p.m.) – Sam Tennell, Aidan Clark
Parrau, Tennell and Clark are all returning to Zones after competing within the meet in 2025 whereas Booth Alam and Bermudez are making their Zones debuts.
