BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M divers Emilio Trevino and Joslyn Oakley superior to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships after robust performances on day one of many NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Monday on the Rec Center Natatorium.

Trevino, a freshman from Monterey, Mexico, certified within the males’s 3m dive, whereas Oakley, a senior from Mooresville, N.C., punched her ticket within the ladies’s 1m dive. It marks Trevino’s first journey to the NCAA Championships and the third NCAA meet for Oakley.

Needing to complete within the prime seven within the males’s 3m dive to advance, Trevino positioned fifth with a 12-dive rating of 735.25 to advance.

Oakley wanted a prime 11 end to advance and delivered a rating of 589.55 to seize a fourth-place end.

In different Aggie motion, sophomores Bridget Foster and Julie Moons positioned 17th (536.15) and 18th (514.05) within the ladies’s 1m dive, respectively, whereas sophomores Nathan Stone and Charles Reuter completed 13th (692.30) and 15th (680.25) within the males’s 3m, respectively.

12 to 1:45 p.m. Women’s Platform Prelims

2 to three:00 p.m. Women’s Platform Finals

4:15 to five:30 p.m. Men’s Platform Prelims

5:45 to six:45 p.m. Men’s Platform Finals

 

** Events will run “straight through” with a 15-minute break between the tip of preliminaries and the start of the finals. **
