And, yeah, just excited to be a Bear and what this team can do this year. I mean, I’ve seen some great things over the past season, so just excited to bring my talents here and just be an addition.”

So they had to actually go into my femur and do what was called an osteotomy to kind of correct my alignment.

“So my knee is healthy. It was a matter of just letting that heal and letting my knee get healthy. So it took a little bit longer than just the regular injury, but it’s doing better now.”

Wills mentioned he has confidence within the work he’s achieved to return from the harm.

“At first, you know, once you get surgery, you’re down,” Wills said. “You’re injured. You’re, obviously, not yourself. So you just got to kind of gain that back through working out, through training, knowing that all the work that you put in for the past year is going to pay off. And I’ve been working out to get healthy. So I got great confidence in what I can do. Just got to fine-tune and make sure that my skill set is ready to go. But I’ve put in the work last year, so now it’s just time to, you know, have some fun again.”

And at the end of the day, like any position, we want competition. We want guys to rise to the level, and, at some point, when we get to September, someone’s going to take that job. And I’m excited to see how that works out.”

Wills mentioned he selected the Bears due to the “opportunity.”

“They wanted to have me here on the roster,” Wills said. “They gave me another chance to play and basically just competition coming in and just trying to prove what I can do and see where that takes me.”
