Purple Knights Earn Trio of All-American Honors

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 noticed two swimmers earn three All-America honors this weekend in Evansville, Ind. on the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championship.  Bridgeport freshmen Christian Toussi and Jurcia Dragun earned honors, headlined by the latter’s first staff standing.

Dragun completed sixth within the 100 Breast, swimming the A ultimate in 53.14 seconds.  That race adopted Dragun’s All-America second staff efficiency within the 200 Breast.  Dragun tied the Bridgeport college file in that race, touching the wall in 1:58.31.

Toussi earned All-America second staff honors for his efforts within the 100 Back.  The freshman was the third-ranked rookie within the race, clocking in at 47.57 seconds to take second within the comfort ultimate.  

Both males gained the NE10 Championship in all three races they earned All-America.
