I’ve been talking at The Photography Show for 5 years now.

One of the organisers has solely ever actually seen *Speaker Denise* — the model of me who turns up able to step on stage. Hair carried out. Makeup carried out. Outfit deliberate. Mic on. Ready to speak.

But that’s not really how most individuals know me.

Most days I’m simply “Photographer Denise”
— plain confronted, in black, cameras strapped to me, quietly getting on with the job.

Some time again I photographed an occasion for her. I arrived as *Photographer Denise*.
Black garments. No make-up. Just there to shoot.

She walked straight previous me with out noticing 😂

Today I walked into The Photography Show as *Speaker Denise* once more.

She noticed me instantly and stated…

“That’s the Denise I recognise.”

It made me smile as a result of each variations are me.

The one quietly documenting moments behind the digicam…
and the one standing on a stage sharing gems and educating others.

My first discuss right here was described as “inspiring” by folks within the viewers — suggestions which means a lot to me.

Five years of displaying up.
Five years of talking.
Five years of being each Denises.

And I’m grateful for each single one in all them.
