PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida swim and dive workforce added 5 new athletes to the 2026 class. The Argos welcome Morgan Gibson, Lara Braganza, Bryn Cameron, Annalise Gagliano, and Katharina Dorner.
 
Morgan Gibson | Swimming
Gibson joins West Florida from Crystal River High School in Ocala, Fla. “I chose to attend UWF because I enjoyed the various activities around Pensacola and the coaching staff at UWF.”
 
Lara Braganza | Swimming
Braganza involves West Florida from The Villages High School in Leesburg, Fla. “I chose the University of West Florida because of its academic and athletic environments. I enjoyed my experiences touring the campus and getting to know the staff and the students I may be around in the future. The university’s support makes me confident I will succeed in college both academically and athletically, preparing me for my long-term career with lots of fun in the process.”
 
Bryn Cameron | Swimming
Cameron arrives in West Florida from Springfield, Va. She attended Cameron Academy for highschool. “I chose UWF because of the close-knit team atmosphere, coaching staff, and good academics! I loved every moment of my visit and can’t imagine not returning. I’m so blessed to have this opportunity, and I can’t wait for the next four years! GO ARGOS!!”
 
Annalise Gagliano | Swimming
Gagliano joins West Florida from St. Mary’s Dominican High School in Harahan, La. “I can’t wait to join the UWF swim team! I chose UWF because of their amazing Sport Management program and the swim team’s great energy. Geaux Argos!!!”

Katharina Dorner | Swimming

Dorner joins UWF from Riedlingen, Germany, the place she attended KGR-Riedlingen highschool. “I’m so excited to announce my commitment to UWF and start a new chapter of my life there. The people are incredibly nice, and the school is everything that I’ve dreamed of. Thank you Coach Phil for this opportunity! I can’t wait to become an Argo!”

 

Maegan Thebarge | Diving

Thebarge arrives to West Florida from Norfolk, Va. She attended Granby highschool. “I chose UWF because it’s where I see myself growing into the best version of me-on and off the board.”
