Klintemar Sets Akron School & MAC Record in 100 Fly at NCAA Championships
ATLANTA, Ga. – Felicia Klintemar and Claire Cox represented the University of Akron swim and dive program on the 2026 NCAA Championships on Thursday, March 19.

Klintemar set a faculty and Mid-American Conference file within the 100 fly prelims on Thursday as she earned All-American standing. She turned the primary swimmer within the MAC and Akron to put up a sub-51 second time (50.89) whereas putting ninth. She positioned first in her warmth.

Cox positioned forty first within the 100 breast with a time of 1:00.62.

Klintemar is again within the pool on Saturday, March 21, when she competes within the 200 IM.

Ohio’s DiBetta and Szoke Complete Thursday’s NCAA Championship Competition

ATLANTA, Georgia – Ohio swim junior Zita Szoke and senior Casadie DiBetta end their first day of competitors on the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, Georgia.

In Thursday’s 200-yard freestyle, Szoke completed fifth in her preliminary warmth, ending 37^th general with a time of 1:46.03.

In the 100-yard breaststroke, DiBetta completed her preliminary warmth in eighth place and completed 43^rd general with a time of 1:00.67.

Both Szoke and DiBetta are again in motion on Friday, March 20, for his or her second day of competitors. DiBetta will kick issues off Friday morning with the 200-yard breaststroke, and Szoke will swim shortly after within the 50-yard freestyle. Prelims are set for 10 a.m. ET with finals at 6 p.m. ET. Only the highest eight finishers in every occasion will swim within the closing spherical. Both classes might be seen on ESPN+.
