Spring is here and with the recent wave of warm weather the time to be outside is now.

Sacramento is home to an array of rooftop bars throughout the lively downtown and midtown area.

Here are Sacramento’s rooftop bars that provide great cocktails, fun music and lively atmosphere.

The Rooftop

The Rooftop, 1616 J St., Sacramento, has been operating since 2021. The midtown spot offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy drinks with friends, fresh air and to “groove to some good music,” according to the bar’s website.

The Darling Aviary

The Darling Aviary, 712 K St., Sacramento, is home of the Nest Rooftop. This downtown rooftop bar embraces a natural atmosphere with many plants throughout the bar.

The bar hosts a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Revival

Revival, 500 J St., Sacramento, provides patrons with the opportunity to experience elevated dining with Sacramento’s culinary artisan Chef Sam. Guests can enjoy locally sourced ingredients and contemporary California cuisine.

The downtown rooftop bar hosts “Golden Hour” Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and all day Sunday.

Clayton Club

The Clayton Club, 1122 7th St., Sacramento, describes itself as a “the tallest rooftop bar in Sacramento.” The downtown bar has curated cocktails, an array of bites and pays homage to the legendary jazz musicians.
