Despite it being Friday the thirteenth, the Just for Fun Parade organizers hit the jackpot, elevating a hefty sum to assist the parade and maintain the festivities rolling. The group got here out and gave freely from their wallets to make sure the parade would hit the streets, donating $1,842. The Funraiser was held at Davenport and had stay music by Attic Ted, Fogdart and TrumpCard, in addition to costumes “just for fun.”
The parade will line up at 10 a.m. on April 25 on the San Marcos Mural, 110 E. Martin Luther King Dr. The parade will hit the streets at 11 a.m. There might be an afterparty on the Showdown, 207 E. Hutchison St.
