Fall River space highschool swim and dive all-scholastic group

The Herald News continues Winter All-Scholastics with co-ed swim and dive all-stars.

Athletes from Durfee and Somerset Berkley/Seekonk took it to subsequent stage every day within the pool, whether or not it was a long-distance race or performing the right dive. Nobody did it higher than Durfee’s Avery Antunes and Michael Harrington. They have been named the Herald News Co-Swimmers of the 12 months.

Co-Swimmers of the Year

Michael Harrington, Durfee

The Hilltopper captain concluded a terrific profession this previous winter. He was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. The Durfee senior had the very best level complete on the boys group for twin meets. Harrington acquired the group’s Most Valuable Player for swimming and this system’s GPA Gold Award.

Avery Antunes, Durfee

Antunes had loads of nice moments in her remaining season for the Hilltoppers this previous winter. She was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 200 freestyle relay. The Durfee captain was the EMISCA Peter Foley Student Female Athlete of the Year. Antunes certified for the state and sectional championships within the 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay. She had the very best level throughout twin meets for the women group. Antunes acquired MVP award for swimming and group’s GPA Gold Award.

First group

Claire Bjerre, Durfee

Bjerre had a terrific remaining season for the Hilltoppers in 2025-26. She was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 200 freestyle occasion. The senior diver certified certified for the state and sectional championships in diving and the 200 free relay. Bjerre, a captain, recorded the second highest level complete in twin meets for the women group. She acquired the MVP group award for diving and GPA Gold Award.

Michael Cabral, Somerset Berkley/Seekonk

Cabral, a senior captain, was a constructive contributor to the SBR/Seekonk co-op swim group this previous winter. The Warriors captain earned 83.5 factors. He had 1 first-place end, 6 second-place finishes and a couple of third-place showings, which was the fourth highest level complete for the boys group.

Ella Farias, Durfee

Farias was versatile all winter season for the Hilltoppers. She was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 200 freestyle relay. Farias, who coated all kinds of swim occasions, certified for the state and sectional championships within the 200 free relay. The sophomore swimmer acquired the Coaches Award and group’s GPA Gold Award.

Kaiulani Levesque, Durfee

Levesque had a stable sophomore marketing campaign for the Hilltoppers this previous winter. She was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 200 freestyle relay. Levesque certified for the state and sectional championships within the 200 free relay. She acquired the group’s GPA Gold Award.

Micah Ross, Durfee

Ross certified for the state and sectional championships in diving this previous winter for the Hilltoppers. He was a Big 3 Conference champion for diving. The senior diver medaled on the South Sectional Championship (seventh). Ross acquired the Coaches Award for diving and the group’s GPA Gold Award.

Reed White, Durfee

White loved a unbelievable 12 months for the Hilltoppers this previous winter. He was a Big 3 Conference champion within the 50 freestyle. The junior utility swimmer recorded the second highest level complete on the boys group. White acquired the Coaches Award and the group’s GPA Silver Award.
