Smith Named Drexel’s CAA Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year

RICHMOND, Va.- Sebastian Smith of Drexel males’s swimming and diving has been named Drexel’s Coastal Athletic Association Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year nominee, as introduced by the convention on Wednesday.

Smith, a senior, capped his profession with a standout season within the pool, main the group in factors and rating third within the convention general. He competed on the NCAA Championships within the 100 butterfly and earned six gold medals and one bronze on the CAA Championships.  Smith captured particular person titles within the 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly whereas additionally contributing to first-place finishes within the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay.
