Thai Places Sixth In Platform Diving To Earn First Team All-American Recognition

ATLANTA – The California males’s swimming and diving workforce completed seventh general on the NCAA Championships, closing the meet with 35 All-American honors.

Freshman Casper Puggaard opened the day within the 200-yard butterfly, ending sixteenth in 1:40.35 to earn Second Team All-American honors. His time ranks eighth in program historical past.

Keaton Jones adopted with a ninth-place end within the 200-yard backstroke so as to add one other All-American accolade for the Bears.

Cal’s 400-yard freestyle relay workforce of Evan Petty, Lucca Battaglini, Martin Wrede and Jones capped off the swimming occasions with First Team All-American honors after clocking a 2:46.59.
