5K Raccoon Run & One-Mile Fun Run

Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside on Sunday, July 26, for the forty sixth Annual 5K Raccoon Run and One-Mile Fun Run.

The 5K begins at 7:45 a.m. close to Orchestra Hall, an earlier begin time this 12 months. The course follows the perimeter of Lakeside earlier than ending at Hoover Auditorium. View the course map.

The One-Mile Fun Run begins at 8 a.m. close to the Lakeside Laundromat. This route follows flat terrain alongside Second and Third Streets and likewise ends at Hoover Auditorium.

Light refreshments shall be out there for all individuals on the end line, and awards shall be offered instantly following the race on the steps of Hoover Auditorium.

REGISTRATION
Registration contains chip timing, eligibility for age-group finisher awards within the 5K, and a commemorative T-shirt for each race occasions. 

• 5K Raccoon Run: $35/individual with T-shirt. T-shirts aren’t assured for registrations after July 1, 2026. Registration and not using a T-shirt is $25/individual.
• One-Mile Fun Run: $15/individual with T-shirt. T-shirts aren’t assured for registrations after July 1, 2026.

Online Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 24. Registration shall be out there quickly. Day-of-race registration is not going to be out there this 12 months.

In-Person Registration is out there Saturday, July 25, from 5-7 p.m. on the Hoover Auditorium Porch. This is the ultimate alternative to register.
