Academic All-District® Women’s Swimming & Diving Team Honors Earned by Four

MEDFORD, MA (April 7, 2026) – Four Tufts University swimmers have earned spots on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women’s Swimming & Diving Team, chosen by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The award acknowledges the nation’s high student-athletes for his or her mixed performances within the pool and within the classroom.

The Jumbos receiving the distinction are seniors Madeleine Dunn, Madison Hagberg, Malia Leung and Quinci Wheeler. Dunn and Wheeler obtain the popularity for the second straight yr.

To be nominated, a student-athlete should be a major contributor to the workforce with at the very least a 3.50 cumulative grade level common (on a 4.0 scale) at her present establishment. Each faculty is proscribed to 4 nominations. Student-athletes should compete in 75 p.c of competitions or end top-eight at a convention meet or take part in on the NCAA Championship.

 

Dunn (biopsychology main), Hagberg (environmental research), Leung (biology) and Wheeler (quantitative economics and Chinese language and cultural research) had been all a part of head coach Adam Hoyt‘s Jumbos who earned second place on the NESCAC Championship meet in 2026. The CSC Academic All-America® program individually acknowledges swimming and diving honorees in 4 divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
