Cooper, a Homeland Security Today Trailblazer, brings greater than 20 years of management expertise throughout operations, technique and enterprise transformation.
In her new position, Cooper will function a member of the group’s management workforce and oversee Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal—guaranteeing the affiliation’s core capabilities are aligned, built-in and constructed to help long-term development.

Cooper most not too long ago served as Executive Assistant Commissioner for Enterprise Services at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the place she led a nationwide group of greater than 4,000 workers delivering mission-critical providers throughout procurement, human capital, data know-how and services. She has held senior management roles throughout CBP and the Department of Homeland Security. Cooper holds a bachelor’s diploma from the University of Michigan and a grasp’s diploma from DePaul University.
