I’ve all the time been occupied with how a title can change the artwork. I used to be strolling via a neighborhood on Oregon’s north coast, capturing the view of the ocean between homes. The Oregon coast is rocky and dramatic (and chilly) and fewer about miles of easy white sand than a chaos of tributaries, rivulets making miniature cliffs, enormous logs tossed round like toys. This {photograph} incorporates an alarming variety of damaged surfaces. I used to be truly specializing in these lovely, ordered clouds overhead dispersing into fog however after I checked out it later I noticed the actual story was the shining physique of water that beckoned like a path, just like the Buddhist saying, “There is no path to happiness: happiness is the path.” I require that fixed reminder. So I titled it: “The Way.”

I’m kinda fascinated by the impulse of individuals to queue up. I do know pranksters generally set a number of folks up in a row and see if they’ll get others to collect, not even understanding what they’re ready for. I assume equity is a part of it and even the calmness of a line however I actually consider it as a human foible. So it made me snicker to see these birds, every on their little rock ready so patiently, with one on the way in which to hitch in. I believe the idea was helped by the flatness of the sunshine and questionable depth of subject that makes the water start to appear like pavement. There they stand, ready for that retailer to open and that retailer is nature itself.
